Mobile vs Desktop

Back in 2017, mobile traffic as a share of total global online traffic was almost 53%. It's been on the incline ever since. This has been significantly larger than desktop traffic since 2015, and the margin is only getting bigger. Websites that are not responsive or mobile-friendly are simply losing large chunks of their audience year after year. Mobile devices are projected to reach almost 80% of global internet use by the end of 2018.

Not only that, but last year mobile eCommerce revenue accounted for 50% of total US eCommerce revenue. If your online store is lacking mobile functionality, you're missing out! The average smartphone conversion rate is up almost 65% compared to desktop conversion rates. Almost 60% of internet users say they won't recommend a business or company with a poorly designed website on mobile. So how's your mobile site looking?

According to Google, 61% of internet users aren't likely to come back to a website on mobile if they had a bad experience the first time, and of that 61%, 40% of them are likely to head to a competitor's site.

Lastly, almost 90% of consumers who search for a business on their mobile device will call that business within 24 hours. 17% of small businesses with a website do not have a mobile-friendly website at all. Are you one of them?

It's important to have your website represent your brand the right way. But not just on the desktop. Don't miss out on potential business. Let us here at Peter Darker get you the website you and your business NEED and deserve today.
