Happy Holidays From Peter Darker

'Tis the season for snow flurries, holiday traffic, and presents we don't like, but act like we do anyways. In all seriousness, this has got to be the best time of the year. Family, friends, and the spirit of giving is in the air. There's so much to be thankful for. Let's remember that this is not just a time we spend focusing on Christmas trees and Santa Claus, but the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And whether you're also celebrating Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or another special holiday during this time, the power of service and giving is the true meaning behind it all. 

We've had such an eventful year. As soon as 2017 hit, someone pranked us all and changed the "HOLLYWOOD" sign in Los Angeles, CA to "HOLLYWEED." Obama left us, and the Trump era began. The Travel Ban was approved, transgender bathroom guidelines established, and the Dakota pipeline was destroyed. And this was all only in January and February. For most, this was another forgettable year, but for all still standing, another year of experience and growth.
